Kevin Bass was born in Southern Pines, North Carolina and now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. He graduated from Appalachian State University were he majored in graphic design and fine art. Kevin continues to explore painting and displays his work throughout the US.

Natural materials such as beach sand, mica and pumice can be found within his work. Giving it a rich texture and shine. Other materials such as paper, old canvas, marker, oil crayon, spray paint and acrylic can be found within the work.
