Graduating university with a degree in Art Education, Fran Scher taught Art in Public Schools in New York. 

Her current focus is Abstract Art. Abstract Art is much like music. What does it mean? It is about how it makes you feel that is important.

Working in Acrylics, Scher often begins the process using graphite to make markings on the canvas and the adventure begins there....not knowing where it is going to take her. Using layer upon layer of paint the journey is intuitive, giving her a new found freedom and methodology within the creative process. She hopes that collectors enjoy her work as much as she enjoys creating it.
