Jeanne Bessette is a self-proclaimed realist which to her means “I imagine the best, most outrageous life I can imagine, then I go about the business of achieving that life” She paints almost every day in her studio in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is literally 25 paces from her back door.
Not a native to the South; she considers herself a “repaired New Englander” which means she talks to strangers, smiles more and grumps less, but still loves going home to Rhode Island.
Jeanne has been featured in several articles and magazines including landing on the cover of Art Business News as one of the top fifty artists to watch. And is now internationally collected and recognized in six countries. Some of her collectors include some very prominent and rather famous people in the world.
